The minimum interest rate determines the minimum interest rate at which the pension funds must pay interest on the retirement assets of insured persons in the obligatory range.<\/p>\n

The Federal Council has also decided that as of January 1 2023, the AHV and IV pensions (1st pillar) will be adjusted to current price and salary development and increased by 2.9%. This adjustment also has an impact on the occupational benefit plan (2nd pillar) in that the limit amounts change.<\/p>\n
